From the President-Summer 2017

Hello Fellow KY PA's,

I am honored to represent you as KAPA President this year. Thank you for supporting our academy and for your generous contributions. We are discussing our goals for the upcoming year and would like your input. Please email me at: if you have any suggestions to aide in our current planning.

Currently, we have 582 members which include 212 PA’s and 331 student PA memberships. There are 1,582 PAs licensed in the state of KY. 1,582!! We need more KAPA members! KAPA is as strong as the members that support us. If you are not a member, please follow the link below to join. If you have colleagues or classmates that are not members, please forward this email on to them. This is an important year for our lobbying efforts and the larger our group is, the stronger we are.

We have several pharmaceutical sponsored regional KAPA dinners throughout the state regularly. Please consider attending these in your area to learn what is taking place for KY PAs, and to give your input. We have board members that are hosting these dinners and will be there to hear your concerns and bring them to the board. Please take advantage of these meetings as we want to advocate for you!

We will be sending out information regarding our upcoming KAPA conference. This will be the first year we will have a silent auction. If you have any items, have contacts with a business, or have a vacation condo that you are willing to donate, please let us know! These donations will increase our advocacy fund this year to support our lobbying efforts. If you have a special talent, and would like to volunteer, please let us know. We are excited for new members and volunteers!

Below are links to renew your membership and also to support the advocacy fund. This is a big year! If you can not volunteer your time, please consider making a donation to help with our lobbying efforts. I look forward to representing you and our KY PA colleagues this year.
